Our Story

TimeTrackerAI was founded by Rob Sarro in late 2024, at a time when he, like many professionals, was clocking 60–80 hour workweeks and facing serious burnout. Although he knew he was busy, it wasn’t until he started tracking his hours in an Excel sheet that the true extent of his workload became clear.

Originally conceived as a personal project, TimeTrackerAI was designed as a web application to help Rob manage his time more effectively. The app tracks total work hours, including nights and weekends, and provides an AI-powered summary that can be exported to PDF. This innovative approach enabled him to identify where his time was truly spent and cut out non-essential tasks.

The Impact

In just a few short weeks, TimeTrackerAI helped Rob reduce his work hours to a healthier 40–50 hours per week. With this newfound clarity, he collaborated with his leadership team to re-prioritize tasks and adjust deadlines, paving the way for a more balanced and satisfying professional life — even freeing up time for other exciting projects.
